Inspired by the shape behind its name, the Leaf collection by David Dahl for Arcadia features modular benches and lounge seating and tables that provide comfortable, flexible, any-direction seating solutions for a variety of healthcare environments.
Leaf is an organically inspired collection of modular, lounge and bench seating by Arcadia.
Lounge and bench modules are joined together with connecting tables to create a huge variety of compositions. Features include chair backs that intentionally double as armrests and optional built-in rotating side tables for working at a laptop or for eating off. It’s also worth noting that the lounge chairs can accommodate up to 750 pounds, making them a discreet choice for bariatric seating.
Full and mid-size benches are offered in six sizes and can be specified individually for single occupants, or together with each other and/or with lounge chairs and connecting tables for multiple seating requirements. The connecting tables themselves are available in five sizes that enable straight or curvilinear arrangements. A free-standing occasional table featuring a center opening to use as a shelf is also offered.
Leaflette is Leaf’s child-sized counterpart that features the same design elements, but at a smaller scale. Sharing the same tables as Leaf, all seating models – lounge chairs and benches – can be used in the same configuration, providing fun, flexible and crafty scenarios for adults and children to sit together. The playful yet practical Leaflette Buds benches are a colorful option for smaller spaces, and smaller occupants.
All Leaf & Leaflette units feature four durable wood or metal legs. Wood elements are available in Maple, rift-cut White Oak or Walnut veneer, while table tops are offered in wood, in standard and custom laminate finishes, or one of eight standard Corian® colors. Metal legs are available in Polished Aluminum or finished in one of three lustrous powdercoat finishes, including Metallic Silver, Metallic Champagne and Graphite. For permanent connections and to reduce the overall number of legs, a ganging leg option is available.
